Catálogos de arte
Una de las primeras listas de grabados en madera de Durero fue recopilada en 1808 por Adam Bartsch en su volumen 7 de "Le Peintre Graveur" [ 1 ] y en el apéndice. En 1862, Johann David Passavant amplió "Le Peintre Graveur" [ 2 ] añadiendo grabados en madera adicionales. Las obras de Bartsch y Passavant, que estaban organizadas alfabéticamente, son la fuente de los números "B." y "P.", referenciados en todos los libros posteriores. Four Books on Human Proportion (1528)
Among his many manuscripts Durer, along with his wife Agnes and friend Willibald Pirckheimer (posthumously) published "Four Books on Human Proportion". Many of Durer's handmade drawings were drawn on a grid to help him simplify the proportions of people in motion.[11]
